Description: The first phase of this project was under a strict deadline and had to be completed within 45 days. Phase I consisted of profiling 28,000 Lf for a new 115 KV power line to service the new Concord Mills Mall. Since new right-of-way had to be purchased for this line, CESI provided all surveying services associated with the preparation of approximately 25 R/W maps. The remaining phases consisted of profiling 48,000 Lf of existing power lines along existing roads (Pitts School Road, U.S. Hwy. 29, Concord Farms Road, Weddington Road, and Poplar Tent Road) for future consideration of power line improvements. CESI completed all phases of profiles over a three-year period. The final profile was completed in April 2001.
