Arbor Glen (2005)

Charlotte, NC
Description:: Less than a decade ago, Arbor Glen formerly called Dalton Village was a crime-filled neighborhood with deteriorating buildings and residences. Thanks to a partnership between Crosland, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Housing Partnership and the Charlotte Housing Authority Arbor Glen is now a beautiful, affordable housing community. Funding provided from HOPE VI, the city of Charlotte, and federal and state housing tax credits enabled the construction of what is now named the Nation’s Best Affordable Housing Community. Amenities offered to residents include a competition size pool, special programs, and two clubhouses. The rental price at Arbor Glen will be substantially lower than most contemporary, luxury apartment communities thanks to the special government financing. However, future potential Arbor Glen residents will face a selection criteria which specifically outlines income minimums and maximums. CESI provided boundary surveys, ALTA, and topographic surveys for all three phases of Arbor Glen under the instruction of the Charlotte Housing Authority.
Services: Performed ALTA Surveys on Phase I, II, III, Boundary & Topographic Surveys for design of the original site
